Hello, and welcome to my new blog, Daily Defense News.
Over the next week or two I will be setting up all feeds coming out from the government about our military, how they are deployed, and our costs in lives and in tax dollars.
As part of reporting on spending, I will try to list all contracts awarded by all branches of the military with links to either the stories, the contracts, press releases, or all of them.
This blog, along with being updated by the feeds received, I will also be writing enterprise and investigative stories.
The purpose of this site is to gather all the military news from sources within the military, from the military industry itself, and to give summaries of news stories and provide links directly to their site. So do not be alarmed if you want to read more and the link takes you to CNN, FOX News, or any national, local TV and newspapers, and even other bloggers.
While this site will gather as much news from the military as I can, if you have a link that I missed and will be helpful for us to add it for our readers, a form will be provided so you can send me any links that has news on US Military.
I want this site to be the go-to site for all news concerning our military, and hopefully as we add links and find new sources of news, perform the end of 2015 this blog will be the authoritative and archive of all news, commentary, editorial, and documents.

If you are into cosmology or space exploration, you will enjoy cosmologyandspace.wordpress.com. Here I am also getting feeds from the space industry, but here I have to cull out the press releases designed for the press where press conferences are scheduled live.
However, you will read what happens at these conferences.
